CCD Classes 2016-2017

Elementary school CCD students meet on Mondays at the hall after school until 4:00 pm. For any student who want to walk from the Elementary School with us, or take the bus to the Elementary School from Sisson, please meet us at the right of the school steps so that we can walk up to the Hall together. Confirmation students will be meeting on Sunday evenings. All are welcome! See you there!

CCD Announcement for School Year 2016-2017

It's time for CCD! If you missed sign-ups after church last week we will be there after both Masses again this week. Classes for elementary school kids will begin this Monday September 19th at 3:00 in the hall. Confirmation class time to be determined. Our teachers,  Linda, Barb, Rosana and Leslea are looking forward to a great year with the students! Please pray for our CCD program. Thanks Katy for volunteering to be our substitute teacher!

CCD Classes Update 2016-2017

As summer is winding down, I'm starting to wind up for
CCD this fall. I'm very excited to start a new year! Volunteers
and students are already starting to sign up.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
• Generate excitement! Ask the young people you see
if they are ready for classes this year.
• Sign up your kids and let them know their friends are welcome,
too.
• Be a teacher
• Offer to make snacks for the kids
• Let us know you can help with special projects, outings or
as a substitute teacher.

CCD Classes Update

Our CCD program is off to a great start this year! We are looking forward to Advent and Linda V is helping us be ready to sing at Christmas. Kids who haven't come yet are welcome to join us any time. There will be no class on Sunday, November 29th. Happy Thanksgiving!

Confirmation Classes

Have you been confirmed in the Catholic faith? If not, this is the perfect opportunity to participate and receive this valuable sacrament. In order to have the Bishop come to our Parish and minister the process, we need more participants, For more information, contact Ann Merkle at (530)859-3279.

CCD Classes

CCD classes for K-8th grades have begun but it is still not too late to register! You may register any Sunday over at the hall after Sunday Mass. Classes are held from 10-11:00 am following the Mass except around holidays. For more information, please call Ann Merkle at (530)859-3279.

CCD ~ Religious Education for 2015/2016

CCD Classes are relatively scheduled to begin again in October. If you are interested in teaching or volunteering in the CCD Classes for 2015/2016 year, please contact Ann Merkle at (530)859-3279. Registration for CCD classes will begin in August and run through September.

They received their First Holy Communion on Sunday, May 5, 2015. Our parish is blessed to have our young children so mindful of their faith. Let's keep them in our prayers. Also a big thank you to our older children and young adults who brought flowers in honor of our Blessed Mother Mary. Our church was filled with love of the Lord! A special thank you also goes to Our Altar Society for the beautiful cake and special decorations to honor our children. The teachers and children felt honored by all your thoughtfulness.

First Communion last May 3, 2015

First Communion and the Crowning of the Blessed Mother was be held last Sunday, May 3, at the 9 am Mass. In preparation for the First Holy Communion Ceremony and the Crowning of the Blessed Mother, the CCD students as well as all children of the parish were invited to participate. They had a practice session last Sat., April 25th at 2 pm. First Confessions ( The Sacrament of Reconciliation) were held last Sat. , April 25th at 3 pm at the Church. All Communion children were required to take their first Confession prior to First Holy Communion. At least one parent was required to be present. Parents and families took confessions right after the children.

Lavada Erickson, the CCD Coordinator, would like to thank everyone for their time and assistance with Communion Preparation. She extends appreciation and God's blessings to all those involved.
